EGGLESS WHEAT CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE:
FOR THE CAKE:
INGREDIENTS: I have used 200ml measuring cup.
WHEAT FLOUR= ¾ CUP
CORN FLOUR/VANILLA CUSTARD POWDER= ¾ TSP
COCOA POWDER= 2TBSP
BAKING SODA= ½ TSP
PINCH OF SALT, PINCH OF CINNAMON POWDER, PINCH OF NUTMEG CLOVE POWDER.
ORANGE RIND= ¼ TSP
SUGAR = 1/4CUP + 1TBSP.
WATER = ½ CUP
COOKING OIL /ODURLESS OIL= 3TBSP
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR/WHITE VINEGAR= ½ TSP
VANILLA ESSENCE= 1TSP.
Chocochips = ¼ CUP
FOR CHOCOLATE GANACHE :
DARK COMPOUND (morde)= 100GMS
AMUL FRESH CREAM= 125ML
VANILLA ESSENCE = 1TSP
METHOD: FOR CAKE:
Pre heat the oven @ 170 degrees, grease and dust 6inches round cake tin/ a loaf tin and keep it aside.In a mixing bowl mix the wet ingredients with sugar , sieve the dry ingredients 5 to 6 times and mix it with wet ingredients in 3 or 4 batches using balloon whisk to a smooth batter. Pour it in the prepared tin and sprinkle the chocochips on the top of the batter and bake it in the preheated oven for 20 to 23mins . cool completely and slice it.
METHOD : FOR CHOCOLATE GANACHE:
Pour amul fresh cream in a bowl with salted butter and heat the bowl at low flame until butter melts and just starts boiling. Chop the dark compound and place it in a bowl , add vanilla essence. To this add hot cream mixture and leave it for 3 to 4 mins. Now stir the mixture to a smooth paste and pour it on the cake. Leave it for a while so that the frosting gets set.
